Chaa-plu, Vietnamese Pepper, Lalot,Wild Betel. Eaten raw in salads or cooked with other greens or dishes, or wrap meats and cook in oven or on stove or grill. This mango is very similar to the Haden, only better! It has the same flavor with the Haden, with less fiber. The fruit are also bigger and less prone to fungus problems. Pick when you see the base of the fruit turning yellow. Eat before fruit gets too ripe. Best cold tolerance.

Firecracker fern, Coral plant. Bright red flowers. Low-growing shrub, distinctive for its long, drooping, usually leafless stems and the almost continuous clusters of small tubular flowers. Verawood. Beautiful large specimen tree with bright golden-yellow to orange flowers. Drought tolerant once established. Needs good drainage, but tolerates poor soils. Great shade tree.
