One of the garden favorites, this is a vigorous, evergreen or semi-evergreen vine bearing highly fragrant flowers adorned from spring intermittently through late summer. They are followed by blue-black berry-like fruit that attract birds. This Japanese honeysuckle has a lush foliage of purple-tinged, oval leaves throughout the growing season. Native to eastern Asia. Grows up to 10-30 ft.

Champaka, or Joy Perfume Tree, with orange / yellow flowers, is regarded as one of the most sacred trees of India and tropical Asia. Its flowers exude a divine fragrance that is exceedingly pleasing to the Gods... and women!
The flowers from this tree are used to make the world's most expensive perfume Joy and smell like fruity bubble gum, you can't stop sticking your nose in this flower! In the ground, it grows to 15-20' in height, but it can be easily kept in a pot. It is a tropical tree, however established plants can tolerate light freeze. Yellow Champaca is much more cold tolerant than var. Alba.
This is hands down the best perfume tree for a Southern landscape.

Jaboticaba. Slow growing plant. The trees are large, bushy and mature (7 years old and older).

Camphor plant - previously called as Ocimum kilimanscharicum. Wonderful scent! Very rare herb great for ground cover, xeriscape or rock garden, needs no care, grows fast, very drought tolerant. Plant it along walkway and enjoy pleasant scent as you walk by or brush on it.

Yellow (Golden) Shrimp plant. Please be aware this plant doesn't take shipping well. It may drop some leaves, but normally it recovers soon.

Grape Leaved Passion Flower. Passiflora vitifolia is a vine with cylindric stems covered in red-brown hairs when young. The name is derived from the shape of leaves resembling that of grape leaves. The flowers are a beautiful deep red. The vine is moderately hardy and can be killed back by hard freezing temperatures or prolonged frosts.

Day avocado is green, smooth skin and is shaped like a club. The fruit is of very good quality and has a nice buttery consistency. The slender tree is very cold tolerant and produces July through September.

Bay Rum Tree. This is a small sized tree related to the Allspice, with leaves containing and aromatic oil that somewhat resembles clove oil. This essential oil is distilled from the leaves and is used in perfumes. A type of cologne named 'Bay Rum' was historically made in the early 20th century by distilling the oil using rum and water, hence the common name of the plant. Root Beer Plant, Acuyo, False Kava-Kava. Close relative of Piper methysticum (Kava-Kava), and Piper nigrum (Black Pepper), this herb originated from Tropical America and grows also in the South Pacific. Large-leaved perennial, known for its leaves, which are used for their spicy aromatic scent and flavor, some liken to root beer, others to anise-clove. This species is easily identified by its huge leaves which can grow over a foot long in older specimens. The leaves are chopped and used for flavoring, as well as used whole, as wrappings for meats, tamales, etc. P. auritum is very often confused with Piper methysticum (Kava-Kava), and probably has some similar effects.

Yellow Mussaenda - evergreen! Golden star shaped blooms are surrounded by creamy yellow bracts. Large sepals in palest yellow-white and small yellow corollas. It likes partial to full sun and moist, freely draining soil. It can be propagated by cuttings. An ever-blooming, small, evergreen shrub excellent in containers. It blooms especially well during the warm months. Grow it in light shade to full sun, and you will be delighted by its bright splash of color for many months each year. This variety is less cold sensitive, unlike other mussaendas. It can take light frost.

Tropical Guava Ruby Supreme. Considered by many to be one of the best guavas for the home garden. This highly productive cultivar produces pear-shaped, yellow skinned guavas with thick, pink flesh. Lower in pectin than other varieties, this variety is superior for eating out-of-hand or processing into juice. In spite of its common name, the tree is cold hardy for a tropical fruit. Very reliable, heavy producer. Will fruit in container.
Ruby Supreme and Barbie Pink guava are very similar, but Barbie pink is much larger and not as dark of a pink color.
