Annona squamosa
Sugar apple, Custard Apple, Sweetsop-Anon, Sweetsop. One of the best subtropical fruit trees, small tree, starts fruiting right away, relatively cold hardy. A must for your fruit garden.

Malpighia glabra
Barbados-Cherry, Acerola. The best source of vitamin C. Fast growing, fruits easily.

Cassia nodosa hybrid - grafted
Pink Shower Tree, Appleblossom Tree. Spectacular medium size fast growing tree with a fine spreading crown. Masses of bubbly fragrant pink appleblossom flowers (over 2 inches across) appear in spring-summer held in cascading clusters along downy branches. Lovely, tropical, rich green, pinnate foliage.

 

 

Averrhoa carambola grafted var. Arkin
Carambola - sweet, juicy, rich-flavored variety. Yellow-orange when ripe.

Pomegranate. Evergreen variety, heavy producer, large fruit, everbearing.

Fig Tree - dark fruit variety. A hardy and easy to grow fruit tree, tolerates freeze.

Psidium guajava - pink fruit
Tropical Guava. Inspite of its common name, the tree is very cold hardy for a tropical fruit. It takes light freeze with no damage. Very reliable, heavy producer. Will fruit in container.

Pecan. The pecan is a species of hickory. The nuts have rich, buttery flavor. They can be eaten fresh or used in cooking. Good source of protein and unsaturated fats. Can be grown approximately from USDA hardiness zones 5 to 9, provided summers are also hot and humid. Trees may live and bear edible nuts for more than three hundred years!
