Very rare Thai endemic plant. It has yellow/golden fragrant flowers
similar to Gardenia tubifera kula except that it has erect flower
(never pendulus), less number of petals and leaves are slightly
velvetish. This gardenia is better suited for alkaline soils (S.
Florida) than G. tubifera kula.
