This delicious fruit has a thick, dark-red skin, inside which are creamy white segments with a sweet, slightly tart flavor. Purported by many who have had the luxury of tasting it as being the best tasting fruit in the world.

Syzygium aromaticum - Clove
All parts of the tree are highly aromatic. It was an important commodity in the spice trade. It is still much used in perfumes, mulled wines, love potions. Dried flower buds are used as a spice, and medicinally for countless things. Clove was much used by the Greeks, Roman and the Chinese for its medicinal value.

Myristica fragrans - Nutmeg
The spice consisting of the seed has a characteristic, pleasant fragrance and slightly warm taste; it is used to flavor many kinds of baked goods, confections, puddings, meats, sauces, vegetables, and such beverages as eggnog.

Lansium domesticum
Langsat, Longkong, Lanzones. One of the most desirable Asian fruit. The fruit skin is greyish-yellow to pale brownish or pink, leathery, thin or thick and may contain milky latex. The fruits contain 5 or more segment of aromatic, translucent, juicy flesh with sweet to acid taste.

Acacia xanthophloea
Fever tree. Attractive tree with curiour "powdered" bark. If the powdery surface is rubbed away with the finger it will reveal a green bark beneath. It has a slender to spreading, sparse, roundish crown of feathery foliage. The thorns are long, straight and paired.

Brownea grandiceps
Rose of Venezuela, Scarlet Flame Bean - small compact tree with spectacular red flowers growing on the trunk.

Ceiba hybrid Pink Princess
This hybrid is a dwarf tree only 8-12 ft tall with a spreading crown. Great for small yards or container culture.
Pink Silk Floss Tree is one of the most beautiful trees in the world. In full bloom, there are almost no leaves. You see a huge mass of color with 10s of thousands of flowers.

Erblichia odorata
Flor de Fuego, Butterfly Tree. A very rare tree in cultivation, this is the newest, most exciting tree to be introduced in the last decade. It said to be one of the most beautiful flowering trees in Central America. Large flowers 6-8" across smell like apricots.

Anthurium hybrid Shibori
Showy cultivar of Anthurium with variegated flowers - from Hawaii. Some flowers display very interesting designs with dots, spots and stripes. Very rare in cultivation.

Tabernaemontana africana (former holstii) - COMPACTA
DWARF culivar of Samoan Gardenia - new introduction from Hawaii.

This variety is very bushy and compact, will not get leggy, grows as a bush unlike regular T.africana that grows into a small tree.
Intoxicating sweet fragrant blossoms - a pinwheeled shaped work of art. Very slow growing.

Acacia sphaerocephala
Bulls-Horn Acacia. The name comes from the shape of the thorns which do indeed resemble the horns of a bull. Rare species.

Brownea kewensis
Rose of Venezuela. A slow-growing, small tree with very large heads of red flowers which hang beneath the foliage.

Erythrina bidwillii
Cry Baby Tree, Indian Coral Tree, Bidwell's Coral Tree.
A showy hybrid of Erythrina crista-galli x Erythrina herbacea.
It flowers during the summer months a very attractive red pea shaped flower that stands out among the landscape. Drought-tolerant; suitable for xeriscaping. Cold hardy to at least light freeze; the most cold hardy varieties of all erythrinas.
