This unique hybrid is very rare and hard to find. The plant has huge double flowers up to 5-6" wide, normally semi-double, but sometimes they come in weird shapes. One of the few cultivated plants native to Polynesia. The intoxicating sweet fragrant blossoms are creamy white works of art. The biggest size gardenia flowers. Foliage is beautiful as well with its dark green shiny leaves, also large as big as 7-8" long and 4-5" wide. It is not easy to grow and very sensitive to overwatering. See size of flower in inches.

Joy Perfume Tree with orange/yellow flowers. The flowers from this tree are used to make the world's most expensive perfume 'Joy'. The extremely aromatic orange blooms appear nearly all year round. Grows to the size of a large shrub or small tree, 15-20' in height. It is a tropical tree, however established plants can tolerate light freeze. Yellow Champaca is much more cold tolerant than var. Alba.
This is one of the best perfume trees for your landscape. The plant doesn't require pruning and has naturally full and bushy shape. Seedlings start to bloom within 2-3 years.
